Robert Fripp's Diary

17.20 On this day in 1914 my Mother was born. Flowers, delivered early on Monday, are on my Parents' grave in Witchampton. The house locks have been changed today and the firm installing the locks are featured in a Dorset magazine for October. The same Dorset magazine has an aerial view of Witchampton. My former home there, Fernhill House, is just outside the picture although it's garden is partly on view. The village church is centrally displayed and, up the slope of the hill behind, is the churchyard and my Parents' grave.

At 16.20 I watched (for the first time) "My Barmy Aunt Boomerang". This is the children's series Toyah filmed in Glasgow earlier this year, and is so successful that a second series is being filmed next year. I loved it. Acknowledging bias, I loved it. The acting throughout is excellent. A young person in this village has already asked if Aunt Boomerang lives here.
